Discovery Park with friends

My friend, Tristi, and her 4 children, joined us for lunch at our home. The kids played, we chatted, then we ate.

After lunch, we headed to Discovery Park, here in Pleasant Grove. What an AWESOME park!!!

The park is very large, made of wood, and looks very castle-like. There's a whole bunch of hands-on things attached to the wooden castle, as well as all the typical park items like swings, etc....

Conner was the oldest kid at the tire swing, pushing our kids.
It was too funny, because in no time a line of eager children were there waiting for a turn, with a big kid pushing them!  Conner was so kind, and patient.  He stood there and pushed all the children.

Before we left, Conner finally got his turn.  Parker pushed him around...and around...and around.
It didn't last long. Conner got quite dizzy!

It was great- Tristi brought a juicy watermelon and it was delicious!

Today was HOT, so it was a refreshing treat in the heat.

This was Andelin's first time eating watermelon.
She thought she was in heaven! It was so fun to watch her enjoy it.

{This is one of my favorite pictures.  Andelin was dancing with her watermelon!}

Tristi and her kids needed to leave, but we lingered awhile longer.
Discovery Park was SO fun, and we will be going back often, that's for sure.
Thankfully, it's just a couple minutes away!
