We have a 1 year old!

Andelin Marie turned 1, today!

Andelin is such a good baby. Really, I'm not just saying that because she's my baby. 
She's seriously the best baby! Her personality is very laid back and she is as sweet as can be.
She is adorable, happy, and very much loved.

Because we have a big family, and all our bustling about, this year has flown by. I knew it would, and I cherished many moments with Andelin along the way. Goodness, I just wanted to hold onto it!
I enjoyed so much of her, and adore this little angel of mine!

Now she's a sticky fingered toddler, who is trying to walk, and wanting to poke her nose into anything she thinks is exciting.  She is fun to watch. 
One of our favorite things she's does right now, is when she crinkles up her little nose, and grins, showing all 7 of her teeth. LOVE IT!

We lOvE our Andelin, and look forward to sharing in her life.



How we celebrated Andelin's first birthday...

We went swimming as a family. 
Grandma and Grandpa Weber are visiting us, so they joined us swimming, too.

On our way home, we got pizza. "Possibly the world's most perfect food", says Grandpa Weber.

Andelin thought the pizza was very tasty, and ate a WHOLE piece by herself. 
I think Andelin agrees with her grandpa!

Cake Time...

Andelin's first birthday cake was Red Velvet cake, just like her daddy had on his first birthday. 

She was happy when we sang her the birthday song, and was very intrigued by the glowing single candle.  Except she couldn't quite blow it out, but kinda hissed at it, as her daddy tried showing her how to blow it.

Without any hesitation, Andelin was munching on her cake slice!
I think she was in cake heaven with all her smiles and giggles, as she sucked on it. 

Gifts...

Emmalese made a card for Andelin, and we all signed it. 
It was very cute, even if Andelin didn't know what to think of it. 

Grandma and Grandpa gave her a card as well, with $10.
(It's a wonderful tradition they do. G&G give a card with $10 for every single one of their grandchildren on each ones birthday.
This is not as easy as it sounds...they have 28 grandkids! With 2 more on their way!)

Andlein gave the same reaction to both cards: 
Not interested.

However, when she opened up the gift with the little brown teddy bear, she snuggled it to her, hugging it over and over.
Andelin tagged Mr. Brown along side her throughout the evening. So sweet!

Sniff, Sniff, my baby is growing up!
