Trimming the tree with special guests

Warren's parents are staying with us for a few days. They live in Washington state, and drove down to Idaho, then Utah, to visit their children and grandchildren.  We're excited to have both Grandma and Grandpa Weber, here!  Usually, it's just Grandma coming to visit, because Grandpa is working, so it's a nice treat.

We've come up with a few fun things to do while they're visiting us- one being trimming our Christmas tree.
We did the tree today, while we listened to Christmas music, ate homemade chocolate chip cookies and sipped cocoa.

One tradition Warren and I have, is to get each child, and spouse, an ornament every year. We've been doing this since we had our first baby. This is Andelin's first Christmas, and I found an adorable ornament that reads, "Baby's First Christmas" on the front.
With that being said, my favorite thing this Christmas season, so far, happened tonight:
Grandma Weber had the honor of holding 5 month old Andelin, and helping her put her first ornament on the tree. So precious!!

And after we put up the mistletoe, Grandma and Grandpa stole a kiss. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

We've been blessed to start off this Christmas season well, and I hope you can find time to make happy memories with your loved ones, and friends.

And with it being December 1st, and all, let me officially wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
