Reflections of Christ

My family went to the Mesa Arizona Temple Visitors Center and saw one of the last showings of the documentary "Reflections of Christ". The movie and photograph display is on it's way to Salt Lake City, Utah. Because of how AWESOME, PROFOUND and TOUCHING
this is, rumor has it that church leaders want to put this in every temples' visitor center. {I speak of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints- aka- Mormons or LDS.}

I gave the link to the website above- go view it!!! It will awe you. Seeing these photographs in person, blown up, framed and viewing the documentary in person was so worth it and I am oh, so very thankful my family could share in it.

A member of the LDS church, Mark Mabry, who lives here in the Mesa/Phoenix area, gathered some of the cast members, including the man who plays Christ, in the annual Easter Pageant on the Mesa Arizona Temple grounds. He did photographs of them depicting Christ's life. The way he took these photographs is so riveting and inspiring that many of them brought tears to our eyes. All these photographs were taken in different parts of Arizona with the exception of Christ walking on water which was photographed in Rocky Point, Mexico.

Mark's father-in-law, Clyde Bawden, who is a talented musician with several CD's already, did the music for the photograph display and documentary.

Warren and I can't wait for the day when these photographs will be in prints so we can have them grace our home! Warren's favorite is the last photo you will see. It's of Christ's resurrection. The glow of the photo only features Christ and you see the nail print in his hand. It's beautiful and it really spoke to Warren. My favorite photo is of Christ's baptism. John the Baptist and Jesus Christ are embracing after the baptism. Christ's face is beaming with joy and it really touched me.

After you view the photographs...tell me what you think. {Not all of the photographs we saw are on the website. But there's a lot of them. Enjoy!}
